PWI Thumbnail tools for Wowza Streaming Engine
The module allows to create thumbnails of frames for live stream being recorded. Thumbnails could be used to update poster screen of web video player or to select a specific frame when rewinding a video in the player. Thumbnails are created in JPG format with a dynamically generated subtitle file in WebTT format. WebVTT format is supported by most web video players. There are several modes of operation and rules for generating screenshot file names. The module does not require knowledge of the Wowza API and is easily integrated with a media site.
